Fall Retreats

In the fall of each year, middle school and high school students from Grace Presbyterian attend weekend retreats at Pine Cove Christian Camps, a group of campgrounds located in the piney woods of East Texas just outside of Tyler, Texas, along peaceful Lake Palestine. The fall retreat for middle school students offers a weekend full of fun and meaningful activities to get them thinking about how God fits into their lives. Pine Cove has a professional staff of college-aged and young adults who have committed their lives to spreading the Word of God. Kids come home with a passionate understanding of the grace we receive through Jesus Christ. For many of our students, this is where they begin a closer walk with Christ, some professing their faith for the first time.

The high school students attend Pine Cove in the fall as well, returning with the same infectious enthusiasm for their faith as their younger counterparts. All weekend retreats are filled with praise and worship music, an inspiring Christian speaker, bible lessons, and relationship-building with students and sponsors within our group.
