In this program children in 1st through 5th grades rotate with their classmates into different workshops each week for a month. In each workshop the students explore a lesson of the Bible through a different learning environment.
The teachers teach in the workshop of their strength and interest, and they teach the same lesson for a month, making adjustments for the different grade levels.
One or two class "shepherds" rotate with the students every week to provide for continuity and nurturing, as well as an extra pair of hands for the teacher.
Within each of the following workshops the good news of Christ is shared with the children of Grace Presbyterian Church.
The creative talents of the children are encouraged in this art room.
Acts of the Apostles uses mural scenes and puppet theater to create the atmosphere and stage to reenact Bible stories.
In the Garden of Eatin' the children experience God's creation through a variety of eating activities.
The maps adorning this room give the children a perspective of the geographical settings of the monthly theme.
