The Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School (GPCDS) enjoys the elite status of accreditation by the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC accreditation signifies that Grace school ranks in a group of less than 10% of preschools nationwide.
"The administration, teaching staff and families of Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School are all to be congratulated for being one of the first programs in the country to earn the mark of quality represented by the reinvented (new) NAEYC Accreditation system," according to the announcement letter from NAEYC,
"I am so proud of this group of teachers!" said school director Nancy Hagan. "Going through this learning process has been very challenging, and they all did an amazing job. All of the required criteria had to be studied and put into practice in our school - and observed by qualified validators from NAEYC. This recognition says that our program is one of the few in the country who have achieved the mark of high quality based on standards set forth by NAEYC. It is wonderful to be associated with such a program."
