Sunday Worship Schedule

9:00AM Contemporary Worship Service
10:00AM Sunday School Hour for all ages
11:00AM Traditional Worship Service

Contemporary Worship 9:00AM

This service includes a 65 voice youth choir every Sunday.  There is also a full praise band that leads the congregation in a contemporary style of worship.  You will see people dressed in a variety of clothing styles (blue jeans, business casual, and formal).  Come in the clothes you feel comfortable wearing to worship and you will fit right in.

Traditional Worship 11:00AM

This service includes an adult choir and all the traditional elements of Presbyterian worship.  Most of the folks at this service wear a more formal style of dress, including business casual and formal suit and tie.  Of course, during the summer months people tend to clothe themselves in ways to survive the Texas heat.

Both of our worship services last about an hour.  There is space just outside the sanctuary to enjoy the coffee and donuts we provide before and after worship.

Opportunities for Children in Worship

At both services we offer child care for children.  There are signs to direct you to the nursery for children ages birth to two years old, where you may leave your children with professional child care workers so you can enjoy worship.  Children through third grade have a special Message for Children during every worship service, afterwhich they may leave to age appropriate learning opportunities.

Childrens Chapel: Children three years old through Kindergarten may go to Children’s Chapel after the Message for Children, where volunteer teams provide structured lessons and loving care.

Acolyte Program: Fourth and fifth grade students may participate in corporate worship at both services through this program.  Parents and children meet with the lead pastor before the worship service to receive instruction about lighting the Christ candle, carrying the Bible into worship, and praying for the worship service.  Parents interested in signing their children up for this program should contact the office (email).

Note: Children are not required to attend these learning opportunities during worship.  You may keep your child(ren) with you in worship if you prefer.

Communion

Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month at both services.  At 9:00AM Communion is offered by intinction, which involves tearing off a piece of bread and dipping it into a cup of juice.  At 11:00AM Communion is passed out to the congregation by service trays with individual cups and pieces of bread.

Baptism

Baptism services are offered to children and adult members of Grace Presbyterian.  We offer the sacrament of baptism as it is requested by members and upon approval by our church leadership.
